Tried and tested: Cream cleansers

In an age where cleansers can come in foam, gel or milk formula, sometimes it’s easy to forget the humble cream option. But not here! We’ve rounded up some seriously good cream formulas to cleanse and clean your face.

Madara Cleansing Milk - 5/5

This product ticks all the boxes – not only is it made from natural and organic ingredients but it’s also free from synthetic perfumes and preservatives – ideal for my sensitive and eczema prone skin. This cleansing milk, which includes oat kernel and linden flower extract, is quite thick but not at all gloopy and comes in a handy pump dispenser. I applied the product with my fingers to my face and wiped off with cotton pads or rinsed off with warm water, finding that it removed all remaining traces of make-up and left my skin feeling soft and comfortably clean.

Skincere Cream Cleanser – 4.5/5

This is the ideal cleanser for anyone who likes their skincare to be 100 per cent natural. With no preservatives, alcohol, soya, wheat, dairy or synthetic fragrance you can be sure it really is au naturel. Gently sweep the cream across your face, either after you’ve removed make-up or to remove it, then remove with water or cotton wool. Skin feels lovely and refreshed, ready for the day or night ahead. The plant extract also work well on evening out tone and leaving skin feeling totally clean.

Martha Hill No.1 Essential Cream Cleanser – 4.5/5

This cleanser has a lovely rose fragrance, that isn’t too overpowering to use on the face. Part of a four step collection, a little bit of this cleanser goes a long way, meaning it lasts for ages. It’s nice and rich thanks to the addition of shea butter and avocado oil, so is best used before bed. Effectively removes make-up and cleans skin, leaving a soft and bright complexion. This feels like real luxury for a bargain price!
