Tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios has done plenty of crazy things in his brief tennis career, but his latest act of nastiness has seen his reputation plunge to new levels.

During a match at the Montreal Masters last night, the Aussie firebrand was in the heat of a battle with French Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka when he decided to use alternative tactics to distract his rival.

Refereeing to his Aussie tennis pal Thanasi Kokkinakis, this was the snipe offered up by Kyrgios: "Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend. Sorry to tell you that, mate.”

This is far from the first time Kyrgios has hit the headlines for the wrong reason, with his antics on and off the court leading many to believe he needs to be censured by tennis authorities.

Wawrinka was clearly unimpressed by his latest antics, as he posted these twitter messages:

However, Kyrgios was unforgiving when asked to make a response to his comments that were believed to refer to rising tennis star Donna Vekic (below) after the match.

"He was getting a bit lippy with me," he said. "Kind of in the heat of the moment. I don't know. I just said it."

Tennis authorities should now come down hard of the Aussie maverick for his latest misdemeanour, which has to fall under the category of bringing the game into disrepute.
