The Notorious calls out both fighters as he hints at a potential rematch with Nate Diaz down the line.

Conor McGregor has responded to Twitter digs from both Jose Aldo and Rafael dos Anjos, which came in the wake of his UFC 196 defeat to Nate Diaz.

Aldo, who McGregor knocked out in 13 seconds to claim the featherweight belt, wasted little time in having a cut off the Dubliner while Dos Anjos was tweeting during the fight before blasting McGregor on Instagram:

🇺🇸||--->>>That's What weight divisions are made for, a bigger man can take heavier shots and keep going. A feather-weight can't think that he can go up and kill everybody. I'm not rejoicing in somebody's defeat but when you start think you're God, God shows you what you really are||🇧🇷--->>>Por isso que foram feitas as categorias de peso, o cara maior e mais pesado consegue segurar mais os golpes e continuar andando pra frente.

The Irish fighter, who admitted his heartbreak at the loss to Diaz, was back on the offensive last night, however, as he continued to condemn those who reveled in the loss of another.

"Now another man gets a victory over me and he [Aldo] celebrates it, that's the sign of a loser, that's the sign of a runner-up... that's not the sign of a champion," McGregor stated following Aldo’s comments.

The Crumlin native then took to social media himself as he blasted both Brazilians for 'only turning up on Twitter':

I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot and missed. I will never apologize for taking a shot. Shit happens. I'll take this loss like a man. I will not shy away from it. I will not change who I am. If another champion goes up 2 weights let me know. If your tired of me talking money, take a nap. I'll still be here when you wake up with the highest PPV and the gate. Still talking multi 7's. Thank you to the true support and fuck the hate that came out of the woodwork. I love it all. Its still steak for breakfast. I've been here many times in my life in some form or another. I'll eat it all and come back stronger. Aldo you are a pussy. Dos anjos you are a pussy. When the history books are written, I showed up. You showed up on Twitter. To the fans! Never ever shy away from challenges. Never run from adversity. Face yourself head on. Nate I will see you again.

Dos Anjos, who pulled out of the scheduled UFC 196 lightweight title fight against the Notorious with a foot injury, was quick to respond to McGregor's insults:

The likeliest scenario at this point will see McGregor defend his featherweight title, with Aldo seeming the most obvious opponent, as he told BT Sport "he imagines" that is how the situation will pan out:
