Zlatan reveals why he has so much admiration for Mourinho
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed why he could not turn down the chance to be reunited with Jose Mourinho at Man Utd - as he declared to rekindle their winning working relationship at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic enjoyed a strong working relationship with Mourinho at Inter Milan and the pair were reunited after they both accepted offers to move to Man Utd last summer.
Ahead of Saturday's eagerly anticipated derby clash with Man City, Ibrahimovic has picked out the quality that persuaded him to join up with Mourinho once again as the in-form marksman spoke to the BBC.
"He is a winner and so am I. I will do everything to win and he thinks the same," stated Ibrahimovic.
"He won, I won, we won when we were young and we will win when we are a little bit older!
"Wherever he went, he won. With Porto, he won the Champions League, nobody expected that.
"In a short time, he has a lot of success. You have coaches that build up and the club has a lot of patience.
"He is very direct with everyone. He does not go behind your back, he will tell you. If you're not good enough, you're not good enough.
"He does what he needs to do to win, and he will make sure he wins. Just like me, I don't accept to lose."
"Mourinho is a mastermind. He knows everything about the game.
"I do not have many regrets, but I do regret that I did not get to play under Mourinho for longer. When the opportunity came again for him to be my coach at United it was an easy decision.
Ibrahimovic will look to lead United to victory against City on Saturday, after starting the season in sparkling fashion with goals against Leicester in the Community Shield, as well as a strikes against Bournemouth and Southampton in the Premier League.
