'It didn't look good' - Wenger offers Sanchez injury update as Koscielny ruled out
Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez will undergo a fitness test today after being forced off during the win away to Stoke City with a thigh problem.
The Chilean was replaced by Aaron Ramsey immediately after netting Arsenal's third in the 4-1 victory.
The Gunners' star man is set to undergo a fitness test later today:
At his press conference this morning ahead of Arsenal's home tie against Sunderland tomorrow, Arsene Wenger was effusive in his praise of Sanchez after the 28-year-old made it 21 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League this season:
"He plays now in a position where he can provide now and he can score. He has become a complete player.
"Of course it is an exceptional achievement, to score in double figures and provide in double figures."
Wenger also revealed that Laurent Koscielny is suffering with a calf strain, ruling him out of Tuesday's 7.45pm kick-off at the Emirates:
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also remains sidelines but Kieran Gibbs is in contention to face the relegated Black Cats.
"Gibbs should be available but Oxlade-Chamberlain is out."
