Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has had more than a few snipes at his rivals (especially Arsene Wenger and Arsenal) as he revelled in his Premier League title success on Tuesday night.

In a presentation that came complete with a well prepared video at the Chelsea end-of-season awards, Arsenal and Manchester City were his sights in typically cheeky Mourinho fashion.

He also had a serious note to offer as he suggested his players were not given the credit they deserved for their success this season as he declared:

"I don't think my players got the respect that they deserve after what they did from day one till the last day.

"The end of the story is just simple. We have to start believing that they learned the lesson and next season will be much, much more difficult for us. We have to be ready for that."

The rest of his speech had plenty of jabs at his rivals and while it might not be quite as memorable as Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal's performance at his club's awards party last week, this could well seen be Mourinho's first foray into deadpan stand-up comedy.

Watch it below:

Mourinho's presence at the Chelsea event meant he could not attend the League Managers' Association annual dinner, even though he was named as Premier League Manager of the Year at that event.

The top prize in the LMA awards was claimed by Bournemouth's Eddie Howe, after he was named Manager of the Year following his success in guiding Bournemouth to the Championship title.
