Paris Saint-Germain slumped to a 3-1 defeat against Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final and for Brazilian defender David Luiz, it was another night to forget.

Already trailing to a first-half goal by Neymar, things got even worse in the second half when Luis Suarez scored a dazzling solo goal, the highlight of which was a quality nutmeg on the fumbling Luiz.

Okay the rest of the PSG defence, and the keeper, didn't exactly cover themselves in glory either while trying to stop the Uruguayan but the way Suarez glided through the Brazilian will surely be heavily talked about in the post-match analysis.

Especially as just minutes later Suarez nuts him again on the way to scoring his second and Barca's third.

PSG then nicked a somewhat fortunate goal back but the night belongs to Luis Suarez and Barcelona, who head into the second leg as firm favourites to progress.

In the night's other game, Porto beat a depleted Bayern Munich 3-1 in Portugal, with goals from Ricardo Quaresma (2) and Jackson Martinez. Thiago Alcantara scored the solitary reply for the German giants.
