LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane can't stop scoring right now and the Dubliner's latest strike revived memories of his iconic goal against Germany in the 2002 World Cup finals.

Keane is pushing himself into contention to win a second successive Most Valuable Player award in Major League Soccer and he played a full part in the Galaxy's 5-0 rout Comunicaciones FC in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Okay, so the finish from Keane was not preceded by a flick-on from Niall Quinn and it didn't count for anywhere near as much as his stunning equaliser against Germany in the Japanese outpost of Ibaraki, but this evergreen striker showed he still has a scoring touch at the age of 35.

And just for nostalgic purposes, here is Robbie's classic goal against the Germans that brought the Irish nation to its feet a little over 13 years ago.
