Video: Jose Mourinho reveals one Man Utd player will go out on loan in January
Reserve goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is the only player that Mourinho will sanction a loan deal for during the January transfer window.
Amid rumours that Anthony Martial could temporarily leave Old Trafford, Mourinho addressed the issue during his press conference this afternoon.
The 21-year-old forward had been linked with a loan switch to La Liga side Sevilla.
However, the Manchester United boss has quashed those rumours as he stated that Johnstone will be the only player departing United on a loan deal this January:
Mourinho explains in the video: "Johnstone is the only player that I allow to go on loan as he doesn't play one single minute. We have a young keeper in Joel, who played many minutes in the last six months.
"For the development of both, Joel played six months in the Portuguese Premier League and now it is time for Sam to play six months. That is the only loan move are going to do."
The Portuguese coach also expanded on the situation for players looking to permanently leave the club.
"I don't want to sell players.
"But as I said before, if a player is not having lots of minutes and if a player really wants to leave we have no right to stop the player to leave. If the conditions are our conditions.
"In this moment, we have not received one single offer that we are going to accept."
This means that the reported £13m bid United received from West Bromwich Albion for Morgan Schneiderlin has been rejected.
The former Chelsea manager revealed that Wayne Rooney remains sidelined for tomorrow's visit of Middlesbrough while Luke Shaw has a chance of making the matchday squad.
