Video - Last gasp despair for Celtic in Champions League
Celtic's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League group stages suffered a hammer blow as they conceded an injury goal in their play-off tie with Malmo and will only take a one goal lead with them to Sweden for the second leg.
While the 3-2 win gives Ronny Deila's side as chance to secure a place in the lucrative stages of the competition, the overriding emotion at the final whistle was one of disappointment.
Leigh Griffiths gave the Scottish champions the lead in the third minute with a typical poacher's goal before midfielder Nir Biton headed in a second from a Stefan Johansen corner.
However, attacker Jo Inge Berget, who had a short and unsuccessful loan spell at Celtic last season, pulled a goal back in the 52nd minute with a wonderful volley.
Griffiths headed in his second and sixth of the season in the 61st minute to make it 3-1 but in the fifth of five added minutes added on Berget scored from close range to make the second leg in Sweden next week more fraught than it ought to have been.
