Manchester United are lining up not one but two signings from the giants of La Liga according to today's papers.

The Red Devils are planning a move for Real Madrid's Germany international midfielder TONI KROOS, according to the Daily Mirror.

And The Daily Express says United will also try to lure Barcelona defender MARC BARTRA to Old Trafford.

While Kroos has long been coveted by many Premier League sides, Bartra could be the type of defensive lynchpin that United have been searching for since the departure of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.

Steve McLaren is under serious pressure at Newvcastle and the papers are already speculating on who will slip into the Magpies hotseat if an when he departs.

The Sun reckon the next man to take on the task could be former Liverpool and Real Madrid manager RAFAEL BENITEZ.

The Daily Telegraph claims ANTONIO CONTE will finalise a deal to take over as Chelsea boss during a meeting with Roman Abramovich in Monte Carlo in the next seven days.

Jurgen Klopp has opened the door for Liverpool winger LAZAR MARKOVIC, currently on loan at Fenerbahce, to return to Anfield in the summer, reports the Daily Star.
