Manchester United head the list of juicy transfer rumours.

With Ashley Young now crocked it is no surprise to see the Red Devils linked with a full-back and the Star say Southampton's Ryan Bertrand is the man they want.

It is hard to imagine Southampton letting the former Chelsea man go but a figure of £20m is being floated in the press today.

And while David de Gea is the best keeper in the league, United may be looking to his possible departure with another rumour.

The Mail reckon that Real Madrid will make another attempt to buy the Spanish stopper so United are trying to line up impressive Stoke custodian Jack Butland to replace him.

And in the final bit of United news the Express say that the Old Trafford money men are willing to pay an eye-watering £48m for Edinson Cavani.

Elsewhere, the Mail say that Chelsea may be about to offload Ramires to either Bayern Munich or PSG before the end of the transfer window while the Express are saying the Blues have made made an approach to PSG defender Thiago Silva.

And finally the Mirror say that Steve McLaren is on the brink of spending £10m to bring Andros Townsend from Spurs to Newcastle.
