According to the Daily Star, Brady will recuperate at home for the next few days before returning to Norwich for an assessment by his club.
The 24-year-old is also thought to have bruised ribs after his heavy fall following the nasty clash of heads.
Brady regained consciousness shortly after the incident, in which he was stretchered off the pitch while wearing an oxygen mask:
Georgia captain Guram Kashia was thankfully on hand to assist Brady after the horror incident:
"He was unconscious but shaking violently and I saw his tongue going around into the back of his throat," Kashia told the Star.
"It was scary and looked very dangerous, but I knew to control myself in the situation.
"I knew you had to hold the neck and reach in to him immediately, it was looking really bad for him.
"Then I tried to hold his tongue until the doctor got there and thankfully he was there quickly."
Ireland fans will be hoping Brady is fully fit when the Boys in Green travel to Austria for what will could be a defining qualifier on November 12.
The FAI said in an official statement: "Robbie Brady has been released from the squad following concussion suffered in the 1-0 win over Georgia.
"Brady spent the night in hospital and underwent a precautionary scan, but he has been cleared by the FAI medical staff."
"Midfielder Jeff Hendrick is suspended for Sunday's Group D game in Chisinau, but has travelled with the squad.
