Rio Ferdinand has insisted Paul Pogba WILL NOT become a Manchester United midfield general to compare to Roy Keane in an exclusive interview with the Sunday World.

Pogba's future is set to be resolved as he prepares to fly back to Europe from his high profile holiday in America, with United expected to finalise his £100m move from Juventus to Old Trafford in the coming days.

“Pogba is not the new Keano, far from it,” the BT Sport pundit told the Sunday World.

“Pogba is a very different kind of personality when you compare him to Roy, but we can all see the talent he has got and that is why United are trying to get him back now.

“Roy was a driving force for our team, he was in your face and he demanded high standards of everyone around him.He was a one-off for a variety of reasons."

Ferdinand's exclusive interview is part of our unbeatable football coverage this week, with our 24-page Premier League guide featuring contributions from John Aldridge, Paul McGrath, Kevin Moran, Roy Curtis, Kevin Palmer and Ken Lawrence.
