Reports in Italy say that Antonio Conte is in the hunt to bring an unwanted Manchester United player to Stamford Bridge.

Calciomercato report that the Chelsea boss is leading the way to end Matteo Darmian's stay at Old Trafford.

The Italian defender doesn't appear to be in Jose Mourinho's plans and a number of clubs are reported to be interested in the 26-year old if, as expected, he is allowed to leave in the January transfer window.

Over the summer Barcelona were linked with a move for him to replace Dani Alves and they may be back in the hunt but other European big names such as Juventus and Napoli are also mentioned as possible destinations.

Darmian signed for United from Torino for almost £13m in 2015 but it seems his future now lies away from Old Trafford.

Question is will Jose Mourinho allow one of his players to join a Premier League foe mid-season?
