Great goals, bitter controversies and shock results were all part of the Premier League mix at the weekend and here's our Team of the Week.

David De Gea (Man Utd) - What a save he pulled off against Southampton on Sunday. It was a key moment in the game and eased United to a vital away day victory.

Robbie Brady (Norwich) - Okay, let's be a little biased here as we needed to get an Irishman into our team somehow. Brady was a solid performer in the Canaries backline as they drew 1-1 against Liverpool.

Kurt Zouma (Chelsea) - Picked by boss Jose Mourinho ahead of skipper John Terry, he scored a vital goal and performed with real class at the back. He is a star in the making.

Winston Reid (West Ham) - A towering presence at the back for the Hammers, he threw his body on the line time and again to help the Hammers secure their famous 2-1 win at Manchester City.

Russell Martin (Norwich) - A kingpin at the heart of the Norwich defence and a goal scoring machine, after he scored his third goal of the season to set up a draw against Liverpool.

Dimitri Payet (West Ham) - Classy from day one of this Premier League season, Payet was brilliant once again as the Hammers pulled off a famous 2-1 win against Manchester City.

Son Heung-min (Tottenham) - Spurs splashed out around £18m to sign this South Korean international and he has injected pace and invention into their line-up. He scored the winning goal against Crystal Palace.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester) - Another fine goal for this exciting attacking star who has been on fire in the opening weeks of the season. He helped his side complete a comeback from 2-0 down to claim at draw at Stoke.

Matt Ritchie (Bournemouth) - What a screamer of a goal from this Scottish star against Sunderland. He was in our team of the the week the moment the shot left his boot.

Graziano Pelle (Southampton) - This powerhouse Italian forward has looked off the pace so far this season, but he was back to his bullish best against Manchester United as he scored two goals.

Anthony Martial (Man Utd) - Two more goals for this masterful young star at Southampton and he continues to make a massive impression after his £36m move to Old Trafford. We will soon be hailing him as a bargain.
