Premier League manager being lined up to replace Arsene Wenger
It has been reported that Bournemouth's Eddie Howe is being discussed as the possible heir to Arsene Wenger in the Arsenal hotseat this summer.
The Sun report this morning that the young English manager has 'influential admirers' at Arsenal who are considering who could take over from the long-standing Frenchman.
Wenger's current contract runs out this summer and he has yet to sign a new deal, fuelling speculation that he may step away after 21 years at the helm this summer.
Howe, 38, is one of the most highly rated young managers in the game and he impressed with both his style and his results last season, keeping the Cherries in the Premier League.
However, there is still a chance that Wenger, 66, will extend his term as owner Stan Kroenke is understood to have told him a new deal is there is he wants it.
