Paul Pogba's agent reveals Man Utd yet to agree Paul Pogba fee
Paul Pogba's agent has insisted Manchester United and Juventus have yet to agree a fee for Paul Pogba and has described journalists reporting on an imminent deal as "parrots", in his latest Twitter message.
Reports in Italy and the UK had claimed that United had agreed a deal with Juventus for Pogba, with the world record transfer set to rubber-stamped after the French midfielder passed his medical.
Yet in a somewhat embarrassing twist in the tale for a host of journalists who were claiming to have the inside track on this deal, agent Mino Raiola has offered up an pretty feisty Twitter message to banish the hype around an imminent announcement.
Journalist = parrots— Mino Raiola (@MinoRaiola) July 29, 2016
No deal done between Clubs
Its a game between Italy press and UK press who announce it first and who is worse.
Reports had earlier suggested that Pogba was undergoing a United medical in Los Angeles, with others claiming the fine details of the transfer had been agreed between all parties.
While Raiola's agents fee for his role in the transfer is believed to have been agreed, his message suggests Juventus and United are still haggling over the price for the 23-year-old.
So just when it seemed as if the transfer of the summer was set to be confirmed, the wait for United fans to welcome Pogba back to Old Trafford continues.
The longer the negotiations over the deal continues, the more suspicions will be raised that Real Madrid could yet revive their interest in Pogba, with this soap opera set to run and run.
