The agent of French midfielder Paul Pogba has confirmed that "a deal will be struck" for his player to leave Juventus this summer, with Manchester United and and Chelsea in the mix to secure his signature.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are believed to be the favourites to bring Pogba back to his homeland, but a return to the Premier League remains a strong possibility for the 22-year-old who has emerged as a star since he was released by Manchester United three years ago.

Pogba's departure from Old Trafford may soon be seen as one of Alex Ferguson's biggest mistakes as United manager, with a £70m transfer fee being placed on the head of a midfielder who has shone on Juve in this season's Champions League.

Now his agent Mino Raiola has told La Stampa that Pogba is more than likely to move from Juventus this summer, despite being contracted to the Turin club until 2019.

"With Juventus we signed for five years, but we're all grown men and if the right offer comes along for Pogba, then the deal will be struck,” he stated.

"I must have received more than 2,000 phone calls for him from the beginning of the year. Almost 20 a day, at least a couple of which were to negotiate, but they were only worth an engagement, not an actual wedding.”

Pogba's transfer is likely to be one of the more lucrative of this summer's window, with his value set to soar if two of his suitors become involved in a bidding way.
