John Terry was the centre of attention on what could be his Chelsea swansong as the new Premier League champions beat Watford 4-3.

The club captain, handed his first league start since September as Antonio Conte rested nine of the players who sealed the title at West Brom on Friday, opened the scoring for the Blues but two minutes later gifted Etienne Capoue an equaliser.

In a dramatic game, Cesar Azpilicueta and Michy Batshuayi put Chelsea 3-1 up, Daryl Janmaat's solo goal and a strike from Stefano Okaka pulled Watford level, but Blues substitute Cesc Fabregas hit a late winner while the Hornets had Sebastian Prodl sent off in stoppage time.

Michy Batshuayi. Making his first Premier League start of the season, the striker whose goal clinched the title on Friday was probably the pick of the bunch at Stamford Bridge and helped himself to another goal as he bids to prove he has a future at the club.
