Pep Guardiola's £250m shopping list revealed
Hot on the heels of his first confirmed signing, today's papers are full of rumours about who is next on Pep Guardiola's wanted list.
The signing of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund is just the start of Manchester City's £250million summer spending spree, says the Daily Mirror.
The Mirror say the former Barca and Bayern boss wants a staggering 10 new players, with a new keeper, four defenders and five midfield/attackers on his wish list.
The Manchester Evening News say it is only six players he wants, but with the names being suggested, the total budget costs would also be close to the £250m mark mentioned in the Mirror.
Despite yesterday's rumour linking him with Manchester United, one of Guardiola's targets is Paul Pogba, according to the Manchester paper.
Alongside him, Real Madrid star Toni Kroos is also a target while other names mentioned on the list include Everton's John Stones, Schalke winger Leroy Sane and Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
On the way out of City to make way for this new blood, according to the papers, are Wilfried Bony and some of City's defenders the wrong side of 30, such as Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov.
Busy summer ahead for Pep...
