Nightmare for West Ham fans as angry Slaven Bilic admits Dimitri Payet 'wants out' of club
West Ham United star Dmitri Payet no longer wants to play for the club, according to Hammers boss Slaven Bilic.
The Croatian manager made the explosive revelation at his press conference this morning:
SB: "We have said we don't want to sell our best players but @dimpayet17 does not want to play for us. We are not going to sell him.— West Ham United (@WestHamUtd) January 12, 2017
SB: "I spoke to the Chairman and this is not a money issue. We gave him a long contract because we want him to stay.— West Ham United (@WestHamUtd) January 12, 2017
Bilic continued by saying: "Let's get serious. I have a situation with a player. It is Dimitri Payet. He wants to leave.
"This team, the staff, we gave him everything, we were always there for him. I feel let down. I feel angry."
It is thought that Payet will not be in Hammers training while his future is decided upon while the Frenchman will definitely not feature in West Ham's home tie against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Bilic is hoping his public outing of the 29-year-old will engender a positive response: "I expect from him to come back and to show commitment and determination to the team like the team has shown to him."
Despite the France international's stance, West Ham will not listen to offers for their star attacker.
