Barcelona star Neymar has revealed he would relish the chance to work under the guidance of Pep Guardiola, in comments that will fuel fresh rumours of a possible move to the Premier League.

Outgoing Bayern Munich boss Guardiola has confirmed that he is weighing up offers from Premier League clubs, with Manchester City firm favourites to land the signature of the two-time Champions League winning coach.

Now Neymar has apparently cast a fresh doubt over his Barcelona future, as he stated his desire to play for Guardiola.

"Guardiola is a guy that I really admire and who I would love to work with," Neymar was quoted by Sky Sports.

"It's tough to say if I want to play in other countries. Nobody knows tomorrow, but I'm very happy where I am right now, at Barcelona.

"I have the will to go back to Brazil some day and I also would like to play in the USA, those two countries are two where I want to play later on my career."

Neymar was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer and his father has recently suggested that staying in Spain will be "difficult" for his son as he continues to endure difficulties with the Spanish tax authorities.

Every major player in world football will be linked with City ahead of Guardiola's expected arrival next summer, so expect a few days linking Neymar with a switch to the blue half of Manchester after these comments.
