Despite a gang of England supporters’ attempts to spoil the party, the Irish are intent of keeping spirits high in France.
A gang of Dublin lads have breathed new life into an old double decker bus and turned it into a big red Euros mobile with ‘Oh la la Paul McGrath’ plastered on the side.
Ireland supporters will set off for France this weekend ahead of the team's opening game against Sweden in Saint-Denis on Monday night
Andy Bennett from Malahide, Brian Cullen, Aidan McGuinness, Kevin Johnson and Eoin O'Donoghue, all from Skerries, stand outside an old double-decker bus that they are taking on their Euro 2016 adventure.
Andy Bennett said: "I'm so excited. I can't stop thinking about it."
Elsewhere, England fans managed to take down the tone of the tournament in their usual fashion as they rioted in Marseille ahead of their opening clash against Russia on Monday. Read the full story here
