Jose Mourinho suggests Manchester derby victory is crucial for Premier League title hopes
Manchester United boss Mourinho has come out with fighting talk ahead of the Manchester derby as he plots to take all three points in tomorrow's clash.
United take on fierce rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford tomorrow afternoon.
Mourinho and Guardiola have an interesting head-to-head record, with more titles for the Portuguese but with the Spaniard holding the edge in previous meetings:
Ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off, the Special One has said that he is aware of the importance of winning the fixture:
"I know what the derby means to Manchester United.
"If you want to be successful, you have to win the game."
The United boss also confirmed that he has no injury complaints for the crunch clash:
There had been worries over the fitness of new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan after he was forced off while playing for Armenia over the international break.
"I'm not saying he's ready to play 90 minutes, but he's ready to help us," the United boss told MUTV.
Despite his withdrawal from the England squad before their World Cup qualifier last Sunday, it seems as though left-back Luke Shaw is also available.
