Mourinho confirms he will be back at work in July
Jose Mourinho confirmed he will be back in the management game in July, but he didn't say with who.
The former Chelsea boss has been linked with the manager's job at Manchester United for months now but with Louis van Gaal still in the role, it is still unclear if the Portuguese man will be stepping into Dutch man's shoes at Old Trafford.
However, at an event in Mexico, Mourinho did confirm that he expected to be back at work this summer, but he wouldn't say where.
"In July, I will be back," he said. "So we are in May. May to July is nothing. I keep enjoying my life which I'm doing, keep enjoying my family. But in July I am back."
When pressed about Manchester United, Mourinho also said: "I don't know. I know nothing about it really. I don't have a club."
Van Gaal's future at United is hanging by a thread as the club need to beat Bournemouth and hope Swansea beat Manchester City to claim that precious fourth place and Champions League football.
The club do have the prospect of a trophy though, as they are in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace later this month.
Doubts remain as to whether victory there would save Van Gaal's job, but the powers that be at Old Trafford will have to make up their minds sooner rather than later.
