Pochettino announced almost two weeks ago he had struck a verbal agreement with Spurs and the deal has now been officially confirmed.
It also quells a storm of speculation caused when Pochettino was spotted having lunch with Alex Ferguson, fuelling rumours he may be headed to Old Trafford. It was subsequently reported that the meeting was set up by the Spurs boss and that it was social in nature.
The 44-year-old was appointed at White Hart Lane in May 2014 and has achieved remarkable progress since his arrival, leading Tottenham to second place this season with one game left to play.
