Martin O'Neill has enacted 10 changes to his Republic of Ireland team to face Slovakia, in an XI that includes Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O'Kane.

The Cherries midfielder, who made his debut as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Switzerland, makes his first start for the country as he takes advantage of clubmate Harry Arter's injury which has ruled Arter out of both friendlies.

John O'Shea returns to captain the side, while Newcastle United keeper Rob Elliott gets a chance to stake his claim for the Number 1 jersey.

The friendly tie kicks off at 7.45pm.

It is O'Shea's 110th appearance for the national team.
