Manchester United figure out key to putting Raheem Sterling off his game
The England winger will be an extremely important attacking outlet for Manchester City in Saturday's derby.
After enduring a tough first campaign with City before taking abuse from some corners over his Euro 2016 performances, many expected Raheem Sterling to initially struggle under Pep Guardiola.
However, in the first three games of the season the winger has established himself as a key attacking component in the Spaniard's set-up.
With two goals and two assists from the first trio of fixtures, along with the absence of Sergio Aguero due to suspension, Sterling will be expected to feature heavily in the final third against Man United.
However, while on England duty this week, it was revealed to Jose Mourinho how he might go about stopping the flying winger.
Interestingly, it was Jordan Henderson, a member of the Liverpool squad that are also fierce rivals of United, who uncovered Sterling's secret weakness:
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Special One has ordered in bags of sneezing powder which his full-backs will be required to use throughout the derby in order to take advantage of Sterling’s apparent jumpiness.
A United bid for Henderson in January is thought to be purely speculation at this point.
