Manchester United fans unleash fury as flop refuses to leave club

Marcos Rojo is determined to stay at Old Trafford, despite a seeming majority of supporters wanting him to leave the club.

Manchester United have apparently told Marcos Rojo that his services are no longer required by the club.

However, this doesn't seem to have perturbed the defender as he turned down a move to the Chinese Super League.

According to the Daily Record, former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson's Shanghai SIPG made a bid for Rojo, which United accepted.

However, having been told he was surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, the Argentina international declined the offer anyway.

United apparently will accept bids in and around the €12million mark for Rojo, despite shelling out at least €20million for the full-back two years ago.

Having posted his appreciation for Wayne Rooney following the United legend's testimonial last night, Rojo came in for a stream of abuse from fans on Twitter:
