Manchester United fans teased beyond belief as Paul Pogba signs club shirt
Having blasted media reports that he is set to join the club on his own social media accounts, it emerged that the Frenchman signed a United jersey while holidaying in the US.
Paul Pogba and Mino Raiola are playing a dangerous game.
By ridiculing media reports via their own social media accounts, they are the ones shovelling fuel onto the fire that is Pogba's seemingly imminent return to Manchester United.
Earlier this morning, the midfielder took aim at various reports from Friday which suggested that the deal to take him to the Premier League was very close to being finalised.
Pogba was even suggested to have had a medical in Los Angeles, reports of which led him to post this message on social media:
He further trolled the footballing world by suggesting he was carrying his United contract around with him:
These messages were then juxtaposed by an Instagram post from a young United fan in America, who jumped the gun by buying a jersey with 'Pogba 6' printed on the back.
The Juventus man posed for photos after signing the shirt, which would seem a very strange thing to do unless the moves is really happening.
At this stage, it would seem only fair for football fans that the saga be ended on way or another.
However, with Adidas seemingly building a campaign solely around the reported move by turning Raiola's 'bla bla bla' Tweet into a marketing stunt, fears that this one may go the distance are extremely valid.
