Man Utd new kit finally 'unveiled' (even though we'd already seen it)
Manchester United staged a grand unveiling of their new home shirt in China on Saturday - but there were no surprises with the new red Adidas strip.
The new shirts have put on sale 'by accident' in random shops over recent weeks, in what appeared to be an attempt to build up hype around the official launch.
It meant that the new kit was familiar to all United fans long before it was officially put on sale, but that is not likely to affect the demand that is certain to make this the most purchased item of clothing this weekend.
United manager Jose Mourinho and his players were presented to the assembled media in the new kit that is certain to be one of the top selling shirts in world football over the next 12 months.
United's successful first season with Adidas saw their kit sell more than any other club in world football, with Anthony Martial the most popular name for fans to have on the back of their shirts.
Even though he wasn't present for the launch, new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the star turn of this kit launch, with the Swedish striker given prime position in the images that were released to mark the occasion:
This is the video United offered up to promote their new look, with the race to snap up the shirts now on for millions of the club's supporters across the globe.
