Man Utd have made 'no serious bid' for Schneiderlin
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has revealed his club have received 'no serious bid' for midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, who continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United.
Reports had suggested that Schneiderlin was expected to complete a £25m move to Manchester United later this week, but the French international trained with his current club on Monday and Koeman admitted a deal was not close.
"Until now, we have not a serious bid for him from Man United," Koeman told the Southampton YouTube channel.
"We will wait, but OK, that's business that normally starts from now.
"We have the experience from last season (of selling players) and we are prepared for everything. We have the situation with Morgan Schneiderlin, we will have to wait what will happen."
Koeman also confirmed he hopes to keep Toby Alderweireld at Southampton after his successful spell on loan last season, but a deal has yet to be struck with Atletico Madrid for the defender.
