Man Utd fans won't like latest Javier Hernandez transfer rumour
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to sanction a summer move for former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to the last round of transfer rumours.
Having already played for Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen this season, Hernandez will not be allowed to play for a third club and his future will remain with his German employers for now.
Yet the Mexican looks set to be a striker in demand ahead of next season after a sparkling run of scoring form that has seen him smash 19 goals for Leverkusen this season.
A report in The Times claims Hernandez will be one of Liverpool's top targets, with the live wire striker fitting the mould of player Klopp is looking for as he looks to rebuild his squad.
If the latest newspaper reports are to be believed, Liverpool are drawing up a long list of possible targets for next summer, with Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski and an ambitious move for Bayern Munich hitman Robert Lewandowski being mentioned in several reports.
While Liverpool are unlikely to be active in the final hours of this month's transfer window, it seems as if they are already contacting agents and clubs about potential moves for next summer.
