Manchester City’s Champions League play-off rivals have been fanning the flames ahead of their crunch clash against Pep Guardiola’s side on Tuesday with some cheeky messages on Twitter.

City take on Steaua Bucharest in the first leg of a potentially tricky tie, with the Romanian club’s feisty social media department taunting City with message that are something unusual to see posted on an official Twitter feed.
This was their latest message, with the punch emoji to finish adding a flourish to the content.
This follows a tweet from last week that saw the Romanian side try to highlight the strength in their line-up:
City are unlikely to be troubled by the messages, but it is clear that the Romanian side are keen to use every advantage possible to unsettle Guardiola’s men ahead of a must-win tie. 
Meanwhile, members of Man City's staff and travelling journalists heading to the game were given a scare on Monday morning as the plane they boarded to head to Romania was evacuated as smoke filled the cabin.
