Liverpool's third kit is unveiled and it's....bright
Liverpool’s third kit has been officially unveiled, with the bright green strip certain to stand out on the rare occasions when Jurgen Klopp’s side will wear it.
The lurid colours may not be to everyone's taste, but they may well go down well with cyclists who follow the Reds as they will be able to double it up as night vision gear.
With dark shoulders to top off the new strip, it will certainly go down as one of the more distinctive outfits in the Premier League collection for the new season, with Liverpool stars Adam Lallana, Simon Mignolet and predictably giving it a seal of approval at the launch event.
“I have always been a fan of bright kits, so I like it,” declared the England midfielder at the kit launch that took place at the Facebook HQ in America.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also answered questions from an assembled audience, with the event given the predictably cringe worthy commentary by an American presenter, who used the words “awesome” and “amazing” in relentlessly annoying fashion.
We will let you to decide whether this kit brings the spirit of Liverpool FC into your hearts, but we have to be honest here and admit we think this kit is pretty horrid.
