Mario Gotze looks certain to be one of the big name targets for Premier League clubs this summer, with his team-mate Thomas Muller confirming his German colleague is not happy at Bayern Munich.

Gotze has suffered an injury hit campaign that has not been helped by the perception that he does not fit into the game plan being deployed by coach Pep Guardiola at Bayern.

The imminent departure of Guardiola to Manchester City may give Gotze a fresh chance to make his mark at Bayern, but Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for the striker who scored the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final.

Gotze enjoyed a successful working relationship with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp during their time together at Borussia Dortmund, with the links of a reunion between the duo refusing to disperse.

Gotze and Klopp and been evasive when asked about a possible summer link-up at Liverpool, yet Muller has added fuel to the suspicion that his colleague could be making a move with these comments.

"I speak with Mario and think he is not 100 per cent satisfied with his situation at Bayern, but I am not Mario's agent, so I am not going to speak about his future," Muller said.

It seems that Gotze will wait to see how new Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti sets up his side next season before deciding on his next move.

"The last two years were definitely not very simple, we'll see what happens," says Gozte.

"It will work out if Guardiola talks to me more often. I'm going to let everything come to me. Anything beyond that, we'll see."
