Liverpool make move for highly-rated French attacker

Liverpool have made made their latest move in the transfer market after formally approaching French winger Ousmane Dembele, according to a report.

French newspaper L'Equipe are claiming Reds officials contacted the Rennes winger's representatives at the beginning of the week to discuss a deal.

The much-sought-after Frenchman (18) has scored 12 times and laid on five assists during 24 overall appearances for the Ligue 1 side this season.

Meanwhile, Reds striker Daniel Sturridge has insisted that he is happy under Jurgen Klopp's regime at Anfield.

The Daily Mail reckons that Real Madrid could move for Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois in the summer, a transfer which would effectively end their interest in Manchester United stopper David de Gea. Rumours have been swirling recently that the Belgium international is unhappy at Stamford  Bridge.
