'Not a left back' - Liverpool bid for winger playing for Jurgen Klopp's former club
Despite boasting an array of options in attacking midfield, Liverpool are looking to further add to their squad in the form of young Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.
Jurgen Klopp may not yet have all his business done in this transfer window.
Despite adding Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum to an array of attacking midfield options including Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana, Liverpool are still in the market for attacking talent.
According to well-respected Merseyside football journalist Tony Barrett, a bid has been made for the 17-year-old Pulisic:
Liverpool have made an £11m offer for Christian Pulisic, Borussia Dortmund's 17-year-old winger.— Tony Barrett (@TonyBarretTimes) August 26, 2016
The prodigious youngster made nine overall appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side in the Bundesliga last season, scoring twice.
However, the re-signing of Mario Gotze coupled with the additions of Andre Schurrle and Ousmane Dembele mean that Dortmund are well stocked in wide attacking areas.
Some Liverpool fans seemed pretty happy with the news:

Though the overriding reaction is that Klopp should address more urgent issues in the squad (here's looking at you, Alberto Moreno):
