Jose Mourinho names much-changed Manchester United lineup to face Feyenoord

The Manchester United boss has named his first United Europa League XI, with eight changes from the Manchester derby defeat.

Mourinho has rung the changes as he looks to balance a Europa League campaign with the rigours of the Premier League.

Wayne Rooney, Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia and Jesse Lingard were all left behind for the trip to Holland.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones, meanwhile, were both ruled out through injury.

The Portuguese coach has also decided to hand a rest to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who begins on the bench.

Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo both come into the side, with first-choice full-backs Valencia and Shaw left in Manchester.

Chris Smalling makes his first start of the season, partnering Eric Bailly in central defence.

Morgan Schneiderlin begins in midfield alongside Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba, while Marcus Rashford is handed his first start up-front.
