Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj is expected to seal a move to Sunderland after claims he feels "humiliated" by the treatment he has received from new Old Trafford chief Jose Mourinho in the last 10 days.

Januzaj was named on a leaked list of players Mourinho was keen to off-load earlier this month, with the decision to remove the No.11 shirt from the Belgium international and hand it to Anthony Martial confirmation that the Belgian international was being edged out of the club.

After being asked to train with the under-21 players, Januzaj has been left in no doubt that he will need to move on from United as Mourinho builds a team without his input.

The news will come as no surprise after the 21-year-old failed to kick-on after his initial breakthrough at United, as he made a big impression in David Moyes' brief spell as the club's manager.

Januzaj failed to impress during a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last season and then failed to break into Louis van Gaal's first team as his spell in German was cut short.

Now he looks set to be reunited with Moyes at Sunderland, with the Daily Mirror among those reporting a deal that will see Januzaj move to Wearside will be confirmed imminently.

Northern Ireland's Paddy McNair is also expected to seal a move from United to Sunderland in the coming days, as the Mourinho clear-out at Old Trafford is set to gather in momentum.
