Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has yet to decide whether he will accept an offer to join Arsenal, amid suggestions that he is under pressure to resolve his future imminently.

England boss Roy Hodgson is reported to be keen for Vardy to resolve his future after a few days of speculation that looked set to finish with him confirming his move to Arsenal on Monday.

Yet there was silence from all sides in the possible move, with Vardy said to be still considering whether to stay with Leicester as they prepare for their debut season in the Champions League.

Leicester are helpless to stop their 29-year-old striker moving to Arsenal after a release clause was triggered by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, with suggestions that Vardy has already undergone a medical with the north London club.

Yet the Foxes are preparing a new contract offer for their star forward, which will offer him a healthy pay rise on top of the next deal he signed mid-way through last season.

There are also fresh reports that Arsenal are in talks with Leicester to sign Riyad Mahrez, with the Algerian international yet to confirm whether he will sign a new contract with the Premier League champions.

With Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante being linked with a move to either Chelsea or Paris Saint-Germain, there is a danger that Claudio Ranieri's fantasy title winners will be ripped up.

Vardy is expected to confirm his future intentions in the coming days, with his future set to be resolved before England kick-off their Euro 2016 campaign this Saturday.
