The Ireland team to take on England at the Aviva Stadium has been announced.

Kieran Westwood has been given the nod in goal, with David Forde and Shay Given on the bench.

John O'Shea will captain the side with Seamus Coleman, Marc Wilson and Robbie Brady completing the back four.

The midfield consists of James McCarthy, Jeff Hendrick, Glenn Whelan, David McGoldrick and Aiden McGeady.

Daryl Murphy's excellent season for Ipswich has been rewarded by Martin O'Neill with a starting spot in attack while Shane Long must settle for a place on the bench.

Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere has been chosen to start for England despite the controversy surrounding his over-zealous celebrations after Arsenal's FA Cup win.
