You may have wondered what goes on behind the closed doors of a Premier League press room on a match day....well let sundayworld.com take you inside for a sneak peak.

We were in attendance when Chelsea took on Crystal Palace on August 29, with the drama on the pitch receiving huge coverage as the Eagles pulled off a stunning 2-1 win against the Premier League champions.

The grand treatment afforded to the world's media at Stamford Bridge was befitting of the occasion, with these images giving you a snap shot of the scenes before, during and after the big game.

The pre-match food offering included a delicious sausage and mash, as well as this stunning spread of cold food. The bread and butter pudding desert (below) was well worth a try, while a cheese board was also on hand.

Managers Jose Mourinho and Alan Pardew patrol the touchline....

Pardew's Palace were on their way to a famous victory.....

And Mourinho had to concede defeat as the final whistle sounded....

Mourinho was forced to explain away on his second home defeat in 100 Premier League games as Chelsea manager....
