Ibrahimovic set to join Man Utd before Euro 2016 - report
Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to complete his move to Manchester United in the coming days, with Sky Sports suggesting the deal will be confirmed before the start of Euro 2016 next Friday.
Ibrahimovic is set to turn down the offer of a vast salary in China to complete a move to United, where he will be reunited with his friend and former manager Jose Mourinho.
Ibrahimovic and Mourinho enjoyed a sparkling working relationship in their time together at Inter Milan, with the pair set to begin life together at Old Trafford at the start of next season.
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic is convinced he still has plenty to offer at the age of 34, as he insists he is in the form of his life as he prepares to lead Sweden's challenge at Euro 2016.
“I have proved that I still have a young mind,” he told the Daily Mirror. “The mental part is 50 per cent of football and that has never been a problem for me.”
“Whether I am 34 or 35, I have never had a better season than this. I am still developing as a player. But it is all about getting the job done – and I do a hell of a job.”
Confidence will not be lacking when Zlatan and Jose join forces once again at Man Utd, with this A-list duo set to become dominant players on the Premier League agenda over the next 12 months.
