Huge worry for Arsenal as megastars yet to sign new deals

Arsenal fans are living in fear as two of the club's best players have yet to be tied down to new contracts.

Arsenal have yet to agree new deals with superstar pair Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Both attackers are coming into the final two years of their contracts, with the Gunners keen to tie the duo down to new deals with potential suitors likely to circle soon.

However, the Times states that the club have yet to make much progress in the matter following initial talks with representatives of both players.

It is now thought that talks will not resume until after the transfer window closes.

Arsenal risk leaving themselves in a vulnerable position the longer the situation goes on, while supporters will be keen for the club's two most valuable attacking players to commit to further seasons at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the north London outfit have been linked with a bid for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.

Arsene Wenger is keen to bring competition for Olivier Giroud to the club, having failed in an attempt to sign Lyon hitman Alexandre Lacazette.
