Harry Kane not interested in Man Utd rumours
Harry Kane has insisted he will stay at Tottenham "for a long time" and stressed he has no interest in making a summer move to Manchester United.
United were linked with a £45m move for Kane last week, but the striker who has made such an impact in his breakthrough season in the Premier League has claimed he is content where he is.
“Spurs is where I’m at and where I plan to be for a very long time,” Kane told BT Sport.
“We’ll be looking to win some good trophies in the future. I want to keep progressing and keep getting better.
“This season has been crazy and more than what I ever expected to do so early on but it’s happened, and it’s how you deal with it.”
“I am hoping to go on and win many trophies for Spurs and England. That’s always been the aim since I was a kid, dreaming of lifting the trophy one day for them.
"I want to be the player that does everything he can to reach his ability and I’ll keep working hard. I want to win trophies.”
United appeared to be handed a blow to their summer transfer plans as stories broke in Germany on Wednesday evening suggesting Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels had turned down a move to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Kane went on to suggest that he feels a weight of responsibility to score goals on a regular basis - because he has picked himself in his own fantasy football team!
"I am in my own fantasy team, so there is quite a bit of pressure there," he confirmed. "I put a lot of Spurs players in, just to keep it all cool."
