Kane to Man Utd? The rumours won't go away

Harry Kane has offered his first comments on the increasingly persistent rumours suggesting Man Utd will make a £40m to sign him from Tottenham this summer.

While he did his best to protest that Spurs were the club he was keen to stay at, the interview with Sky Sports saw Kane admit he was fully aware of the rumours that United will look to sign him this summer.

“I have seen there is interest but that’s all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested," he stated.

“Tottenham are a big club and that’s the way people have got to see it. I’m at a big club now and enjoying my football looking forward to next season.”

Kane scored 31 goals for Tottenham last season and is evidently one of the rising stars of the English game, but there must be doubts over whether the 21-year-old striker is ready to make a move to play Champions League football with United.

The question for United fans must be this - would you be happy if Harry Kane is to be your major striker signing this summer?
