Pep Guardiola's next move is likely to be one of the big soccer stories of 2016 and reports in Germany claim he could end up at Arsenal.

Manchester City have long been viewed as the favourites to secure Guardiola's services, with suggestions that the two-time Champions League winning coach has already agreed to replace Manuel Pellegrini at City circulating for many months now.

Those rumours were reignited when Guardiola confirmed last Sunday that he would be leaving Bayern Munich next summer and was keen to make a quick return to the game.

His eagerness to coach in the Premier League has sparked suggestions that he could be chased by Chelsea and Manchester United, yet there was a perception that City had already won the race for his signature.

However, Bild are reporting in Germany that Guardiola could be a contender to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, even though the enduring Gunners boss has a contract that is due to run until the summer of 2017.

Guardiola has long been viewed as a figure would could succeed Wenger at Arsenal, but Manchester City is still his most like next destination in a New Year when he is likely to be in huge demand.
