According to reports in France, Paris Saint germain are readying a massive bid to prise Philippe Coutinho away from Liverpool.

The Star carries a report from French mag Le10 Sport that says that PSG are plotting to offer the Reds £46m for the Brazilian schemer this summer.

That sort of money would be hard for Liverpool to turn down, especially as they face a season without European action, but there is some good news for Liverpool fans.

Coutinho is only of interest to PSG if they fail in bids to land two other players, Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar.

If PSG can land one of those megastars then Coutinho won't be approached.

PSG's chances of getting one of those two from La Liga are slim, but you never know.

It was also reported today that PSG will battle Manchester United for the services of Gonzalo Higuain.

Looks like a busy summer in Paris.
